DominoesPlatform 3 is very active in the Linlithgow and District Domino League. During the season matches are played in many venues in the district but when we play "at home" then the teams, regulars and guests can be sure of a treat. Dominoes can be a serious game but these matches are always great fun and snacks are usually provided during the evening. It is during these ocassions that we have the opportunity to meet and have a drink with regulars from other pubs and clubs in the area. Last season's play resulted in our holding our place in the middle of the league but we again managed to shine in two of the individual competitions. Jimmy won the Singles Trophy outright and Billy brought the Captains' Trophy home. These two now join the previous year's cup in pride of place on top of the coffee machine. The 2009/2010 season is now well under way and we are off to quite a good start so wish us luck, or better still, if you wish to join our team and play for us then just drop in and make yourself known to the Team Captain (that's him in the corner with the beard drinking guinness) or any of the bar staff.
