Hi folks,

Although my name is William, I am known universally as Billy.  Born and bred in God's own country, the north of Ireland, I moved over to Scotland in the year 2000 and lived at first in Edinburgh but am now firmly ensconsed in The Royal Burgh of Linlithgow (birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots).

I am a regular attender at Platform 3 where I have made many friends and indeed the boss, Ian, persuaded me to put this site together.  This has been a labour of love and I have tried to communicate some of the friendly and sometimes light hearted atmosphere that exists in Platform 3.  If you wish to see the site statistics then just click on the button below.

 

I have many and varied interests which include music (mostly New Orleans and Trad Jazz, but some classical and opera as well), aeroplanes, history, and fiddling with computer related thingies. I even get paid for fiddling with computed related thingies (note I did not say work!).
